Spiritual Ministry
The heart of the Army can be found in its spiritual ministry. It is here that the Army reaches out to heal wounds of the soul, to share the love of Jesus Christ, and to proclaim God's promise of salvation.

Women's Ministry
One o f the first international leaders of The Salvation Army was a woman, General Evangeline Booth. Her legacy of compassion, dedication, and a love for God and humankind lives on today through a variety of women's ministries offered by The Salvation Army.
The Everett Home League meets on Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM at the Corps. The meetings are open to those 16 years of age and older. The four-fold purpose of the Home League is Fellowship, Education, Service and Worship.
Thursday afternoons from 5 to 6 PM there is a women's Bible Study and a Fellowship Meal.
Community Care Ministries
Loneliness can be as painful and debilitating as a dreaded disease. Each year, more than 100,000 people and receive the gift of friendship and support through The Salvation Army's Community Care Ministries, In-home, nursing home and hospital visitation, telephone calls, and an abundance of love and care are all provided by Communtiy Care Ministry volunteers.
The Everett CCM members have a monthly outreach at a local nursing home the fourth Sunday of the month from 1:30-2:30 PM.
Church
Heart to God and Hand to Man-a philosophy of The Salvation Army since its inception. Many people see the Army only as a kettle at Christmas time, o a place to drop off used clothing. At its very heart, The Salvation Army is a Christian church.
Music Ministry
Brass bands....timbrels....melodious voices on the street corner....these are all cornerstones to the Army's rich musical history. Often upbeat and bold, the sounds of The Salvation Army have always been distinctive in the world of music.
Youth Ministry
Wherever there are children, there are minds hungry for learning, legs stretching to run, and arms opened for love. The youth ministries of The Salvation Army provide educational, physical, emotional and spiritual programs to help strenghten a child's future....and ours.
Troop Programs are held the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 12:30-2:30 PM. Moonbeams are for boys and girls pre-school to kindergarten age, Sunbeams are for girls in grades 1-5, Girl Guards are for girls in grades 6-12, Adventure Corps is for boys in grades 1-5 and Rangers are for boys in grades 6-12. These troop programs are similar to the American Scouting programs, but are faith-based. Children earn badges usually on a monthly basis. They learn skills such as identifying bugs, cooking, camping, sewing, fishing and so on.
The Salvation Army also has a summer camp program for children ages 7 to 16. The camps are residential and run Monday to Friday. Contact Captain Mary Libby at 425-259-8129 for more information.
