The Salvation Army, in collaboration with Neighbors Who Care, other area faith communities, businesses and volunteer groups host a fellowship meal on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5 pm. The first group of 70 guests is admitted to the Salvation Army Church Building (2525 Rucker Av, Everett WA) at 5 pm and meal service starts shortly thereafter. As guests in this first group complete their meal, remaining neighbors are invited into the building. The last guest is usually served no later than 5:45 and clean-up of the dining area starts at 6 pm.
This fellowship meal is established as a place of peace for our neighbors to gather and join in a simple meal. Because of the importance of maintaining this gathering as a place of peace, guests are asked to support, reinforce and comply with the following requirements:
Community members, age 18 and over, who commit to conduct themselves peacefully and interact respectfully to other guests, volunteers and staff are welcome at the meal.
Community members under age 18 must be accompanied by a legal family member over the age of 18 (brother, sister, parent, grandparent, etc.)
Unaccompanied community members who appear to be under 18 and do not have valid ID, will not be admitted to the Fellowship Meal (Please see U-Turn Youth Center Info)
Community members who behave in a disruptive manner, engage in illegal activities, have warrants on file or are otherwise out of compliance with probation/community corrections requirements are not permitted to attend the Fellowship Meal until such issues are resolved.
